In his role as Armis Federal CTO, Mr. Hamblin is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that support Armis's product/technology direction, for the Federal programs CDM, FedRAMP and FISMA, and integrated enterprise solutions development for customers. Mr. Hamblin collaborates with Federal customers and helps them stay ahead of the continually evolving Cyber Threat environment. Mr. Hamblin
additionally works with Federal customers on cybersecurity initiatives and helps ensure customer security posture is maintained. Mr. Hamblin previously was at IBM for 24 years and served as Federal Security CTO and managed support for Federal Standards. Among many projects, he led the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Programs and designed several very large Identity, Credential and Access
Management (ICAM) solutions with deployments of over 70 million users. Prior to that Mr. Hamblin was with Verizon Business Federal, where he was the DoD/IC CTO. Mr. Hamblin served in the U.S. Air Force, and has worked for the Department of Defense on various special projects. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he majored in Computer Science.
