Anisha Patel was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Virginia. After graduation, she worked in the cellular design industry before getting her master’s in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
In 1998, while at Georgia Tech, that she was recruited by, then Raytheon E-Systems as a Hardware Engineer (HWE). She worked on the design and build of ground stations for the first generation Global Hawk UAV. She then moved onto working ground station designs for the Navy’s Tactical Control Systems (TCS). From HWE, she moved into Systems Engineering (SE) and then Program Management (PM) for the U2 ground processing system known as Deployable Ground Intercept Facility (DGIF). In 2011, Anisha moved over to the classified proprietary customer space supporting Operations and Maintenance contracts.
In 2020, she joined the DHS/DOMino program, where she is the deputy PM helping lead a 400+ person workforce and manage the activities associated with the software development and Operations & Maintenance necessary to maintain the security of large scale networks in use by the US Government.
